I've set up an LRP Sphere esc. The lights confirm it has been setup correctly, but when I give it throttle, the motor doesn't turn and gets very hot very fast.
My battery is an older Orion 2s 3600 25c carbon edition lipo. The equipment hasn't been used in years, but worked perfectly fine before then.
Anyone have an idea(s) what the problems might be?

Sounds like the motor may be locked up

Is there a way to unlock the motor? It's a Novak 17.5 and I have 2 of them and both would not work.

If both motors don't work, it might be the ESC.

Make sure motor wires are soldered on correctly...A-A, B-B, and C-C. No solder shorting across the terminals either. Sensor wire plugged in right.

I got the motor working. It was a radio setting. But now when I put the vehicle on the ground it started to move and then stopped. Is this a slipper problem or something else?
