Thanks for all the responses. I think I'm sold on one of the arma bashers just need to decide which one.

Also the losi ten-MT and ten- SCBE are both good strong trucks for 400-500 bucks. Both run 10th scale electronics though. So instead of 4s or 6s you will be running 2s and 3s. In the Ten-Mt 2s=39mph, 3s=53mph.

The Ten MT, SCBE and XXL-2e are among the best from Losi for a Basher. I wish the Ten MT had a metal chassis and was geared correctly from the factory. The SCBE is smaller then the Arrma stuff but is very tough. The XXL-2e is older Tech, but a good solid platform.

In MY personal opinion, none of the above is better or equal to the Kraton though. The Outcast is great, but I feel like a starter/beginner would favor the Kraton for the simple fact that it's good at just about everything instead of really good a few things.

I thought that too when I bought my Ten-MT but I have jumped it off of everything I jump my Losi 8ight-E and the only thing to break was a shock cap due to a bad landing. And yes I bash the crap out of the 8ight-E as well.

Arrma is hard to beat for bashing these days. I remember when we were running a local back yard track. Must have been short course day because there were 15+ short course trucks running. When I saw a guy running a Senton on 6S I had to ask WTF is that. Then he took the body... looked like no other short course truck out there. Could tell right then this thing is for beating on.

If you want a racer that can bash look at Casters Rapture 2.0 or 3.0 4wd SCT. Thing is bullet proof and you can run dual 2s shorties or dual 2s sticks in parallel or series for 4s. Packs run saddle style. I have a loaded roller, couple sets of tires with basically new Novak active 8 V2 speedo, PitWizard programming box and 4.5 and 5.5 550 ballistic motors. I just don't get to use and would let go for a deal. Also has all the CFiber upgrades, 2 piece motor mount, CF dual battery tray, floating ESC plate, Basically the Rapture is a 8th scale buggy turned into a 4wd SCT

Another vote for the Kraton ..the trck is tough as nails.among other bashing I jumped it straight into my neighbors brick wall twice and finally managed to snap a shock eyelet.. and im running 4s and it puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it

Love it! I did a similar one, looked away for a second to make sure my 5 year old didn't cross the street and I ran full speed into concrete curb, managed to break front sway bar connector, just took it off all together and never put it back on.
ARRMA platform is so tough.

+1 for any of the ARRMA 1/8 scale range. We have a Kraton, Talion, and Senton... all have exceeded my expectations.
