Futaba 4pv

Looking for a larger wheel for this 4PV. There was a link 4-5 pages back but the wheel is no longer available. Futaba doesn’t list the diameter of this wheel, but it’s a little too small for my liking. Are all the Futaba models the same diameter. I would think they should be interchangeable, although they look all about the same size?
thanks

If you contact Futaba USA, hopefully their CS will be able to answer your question. I am not sure if the 4PV Wheel hub had been updated or changed.

Thats probably a great idea. I’ll reach out to them.
Thanks

The 7PX has an optional 46mm wheel. Not sure if it fits, I coverted my 4PX to the 7PX wheel, as I usually always swap wheels.

In the market for a good surface radio and need your weigh in on weather I should get a 4px or 4pv spend 210 Aud on a Pv or PX for 839Aud , is there such a huge difference..
I've used other brands for around 250 - 300 just fine

Who uses the angle adapter on their radio? How much of a difference does it make? I would think it would put my left wrist in more neutral position, but I would like to hear some honest opinions before spending more (angle and/or drop down) on a used and older radio system.
Thanks
Thanks

Necrothread revival alert -- "Rise from your grave!"
Bumping this old one to ask how the steering drop-downs changed the feel for you on the 4PV. I am curious to test it out myself, but before I spend the $11.99 on a part that I may not like, I thought I'd ask first. I mean, how do I know if it's better or not? The 4PV isn't actually uncomfortable, but perhaps the drop-down is a no-brainer upgrade? Is the whole idea of a drop-down, in general, to align your hands more or less so they're at the same height? Thanks for any feedback.

Hey thanks for the like and the reply!
I will chime back and say that "I took the plunge" and spent that $11.99 and bought the drop-down for my 4PV. I'm still getting used to it, but I *think* it does feel a bit better. My right, steering hand is lower, and I believe it feels a bit more natural.
Now, the center line of the steering wheel is at the same level as the center-line of the trigger, like where your finger goes.
All in all, I think it was a worthy investment. Not sure about the APA tilt option. Maybe that's next.

But you do have the option to go forward or backwards.
