Futaba 4pv

Hey everyone
I am in the market for a new transmitted and I came across the new futaba 4pv I try looking on towerhobbies and amainhobbies both them don't have it but other online store do has anyone brought one what you think off it

As far as I know it hasn't officially hit the US markets yet. The online stores I have found it in are all Asian or over seas. I haven't looked for a about a week though so maybe it's getting closer.

Correct. It is an update/"upgrade" on the level that the 4PLS is at now. Looks good and while it is safe to order one from a place like Banzai, be aware that self-imported radios will not have the warranty honored in the US.

Does anyone know when they be out. I rather order from well know shop like amain or tower

I talked to Futaba support a few weeks ago and they had no info on a US release date at that time. Seems like it is taking longer than the 3pv did though.

Not sure how this works but maybe they're giving retailers/distributors time to sell out there 4PLS stock..

Tower just moved their status from Mid November to Late November!! Sucks!!!! Have one on pre order!!

I have one on order from my local track.
One of the online places has tomorrow as the release date.
I don't know if Futaba drop ships directly to high volume shops or if they have to get re-packaged at the US distributor. If mine comes in, I'll be racing with it Sunday.

does the 4PV convert to left handed?

Did you get it? All web sites have been pushing the date back. Curious if anyone has got their hands on one!!!

It takes a while, the 4GRS did not hit the shelf for about 6-8 months after it was shown at the hobby show.

I'm still waiting and I'm getting impatient.

My old radio has glitches when more than 10 radios and the track wifi are running at the same time. 8 radios in practice, no problem, more than 10 while racing and it gets weird. We run on-road and off-road at the same time on Sundays.

If this goes on for more than another week, I'll be buying an MT4S.

What radio do you have that is glitching so badly? I have an old PCM Futaba and it still does not have issues when running vintage 1/8 on-road, even with newer radios nearby, and a highway.
