I can though charge a different pack and it will work fine for a few charges. I have exhausted multiple charge cables, some I made some bought and they all work perfectly fine with the 306 and other chargers.
So when I get an error i've been moving my lipo to another charger, I've tried at times bringing the lipo back after using it with a 306 to charge on the 406 but not luck. Also keep in mind this is happening on multiple brands of lipo packs from long to short.

have you tried to load the default settings? this is done by holding down the tab/sys button for 2 seconds when powered on. then choose "save and load config" then choose "load defaults configuration"

does the charger give you an error number? this will tell you if you have a battery issue or a power supply issue.

Soap, you can also set it up to do a charge on low voltage then continue on. I can help you set that up when you race again.

I have not tried that, I'll give that a shot. There's an error number, looked it up last time and couldn't find it.

you can also calibrate the charger. do you have the owners manual? it shows you how to calibrate the charger and error codes.
I was going to link a manual for the charger but it looks like they quit making the 406 duo. I don't know if the manuals from the 308 and 4010 will cross over or not. .

I have a question. When charging. What are the little bars next to the cell voltages? They kind of look like phone service bars only in green, yellow, and red. Also, they only are shown next to one of the cells. What does this mean?

they indicate how much is being discharged out of that particular cell to keep the pack as a whole balanced.
