I just got a new Mini Cooper shell! Apparently they are getting rarer even here in Finland, what with Tamiya discontinuing the body and all.. I read about that on sakadachi's profile page, thanks for the heads-up! Haven't had time to paint it yet, but I did trim the excess lexan off the body.

..several nice bodies have been discontinued as of late,
The Mini JCW body was also discountinued as well (fortunately I picked a few extra's up at the retail price). Wondering if Tamiya's licensing deal w/ Mini has expired or something??

I hope tamiya make new lists of mchassis body so we get many choices to have.. even though i really love the old mini body and vw beetle body..

In my country is so hard to find both.. i think another country also just have new old stock besides new stock body or kit with mini and beetle body

Yes, it was mentioned earlier in this thread that the licensing deal has ended. Such a shame, it's not a mini class without a mini.

Tamiya used waaaay too much paint on the factory painted Monte Carlo. It is very heavy compared to my M01 body which is the same body without the race decals.

Happy Anniversary to me! Well sort of.
This week...is 10 years since rc-mini.net went live to the world. 10 years since Tim and I started talking all sorts of crap online, and some of it was even legit, although a lot was utter bollocks too.
And to celebrate, I'm offloading some of my rarities...and no I don't mean nudie photos. You can only keep things so long and I've decided some of my special Mini stuff needs to find new homes.
Splash your cash my friends on these beauties. Or if you have a rich (or stupid, I'm not fussed) friend, tell them.
Theses are the first 3, more to come next week..

Well my mini Monte Carlo pre painted body weighed in at 123grams ...
The mini clear body I painted weighed in at 91grams...
The mini blitz(0.5mm) Volvo body weighed in at 47grams, and sits much lower on my m03 chassis...

Gray, you bastard. You know perfectly well I can resist this stuff. Okay, maybe I can resist this first batch. That clear 03 is so effing sexy, though.

BUT...if you ever put the Yokomo YRF2 up for bids, I'll kill anyone who stands in my way...within reason. Maybe I could just steal a kidney and sell it on the black market. Mine aren't that valuable.

Jim....you don't know what's coming up next. But...it might well be more than just Minis...
Part with a NIB YRF2 SP? I dunno though. I kinda like having the entire Worlds supply.
