Yeah by all means is that car not TCS leagal. I don't use the roll bars either. I just wish they made the TA03 ball diff adjustable without breaking the car in half. Tuning it is getting to be a PITA. I am going to try the M05 diff with the 416 bolt, nut and TB. I have some ceramic balls I would like to try in it too.

Is there a chance to fit a HPI RS4mini Body (i.g. Mercedes A-Class) on a M05 Pro?

For anyone interested, they have the TCS Mini "A" Mains posted on the Tamiya thread in the Racing forum. Quality of the videos are very good and the racing was tight. The A1 main was amazing

Hi Gramps!

Thanks so much for the tires yesterday!
That's gonna go a long way in helping our new driver get his feet wet!

He is very blown away by the helpfulness of our "little" community.

Yeah the videos are awesome. I actually watched the race live. I wish Brandon would post up his setup.

No biggie, Craig. I've got a few more sets that he can play with. He can have those too. Now that we're using a spec tire for TCS, the more exotic insert combinations are out the window

I'm after a set up for an MO3 on carpet, I have had a search but there are 875 pages worth to got through!

This is the set up I'm using: HPI Saturn 20t motor, Sweep 32 Tyres, I have the mini spring tuning kit (blue, yell, orange) and plastic oil filled dampers.

I'm looking for set up on;

diff (ball or gear?)

toe in or out

Camber

Rear toe in

Shock oils and springs

Ride Height

I'm also running lipo in it so are any of you adding lead in the M03??

Thanks in advance!

the last indoor race i did with my M03 i used Tamiya M grips but this was my set up

toe out front was about 2 degrees

alloy rear hubs with 1.5 degrees toe in

camber was standard kit upper arms

ball diff (personal choice)

600 oil in TRF shocks with 3 hole pistons

Blue short rear springs

White short front springs

what I did too was I spaced the servo down to the chassis from the servo holder (where the 2 screws mount it on to the chassis) this reduces the amount of bump steer you get

The car was planted and i was running 2nd in the race till the battery went flat on the last lap

I added my weight in the rear of the chassis to make it up to min weight

What deg are the TL 01 rear toe in blocks?

Good tip about servo bump steer, I'll give that a go!

What are the effects of using the wrong outdrives with gear diff ??

I was running my M03r and she was dialed running the Ta03 ball diff, half way through my race the diff let go and couldnt put down any power. without having a rebuild kit for the ball diff i threw the gear diff back in after this i have nothing but traction rolls i went from running 1st/2nd to 6th/7th also the car was pivoting this was three weeks ago. Well i just noticed while preparring for this weeknds race i never switched out the outdrives. Upon comparrison i noticed the outdrives for the ball diff are about 1-2 mm longer.
What effects would this have on driving ? Im hoping this has fixed my traction roll issues but have no track to practice on till Sat.
We are in a very close points battle (2 points seperating 4 cars for 3rd place)
and this weekend is final leg

Thanks
