did the pipe hit right into the broken aluminium part ?
It actually wasn't violent at all. It was a step up to a 90* left turn and it landed on the pipe with the front tire and turned full left so maybe it was just to much stress? I was thinking it was a lower arm that broke but i was very surprised once I saw what broke. Even the other people with teknos never had seen it happen. Not trying to blame Tekno at all just surprised it was the much carnage. I had a lot worse crashes last week at thunder alley than today.

the hit was on the front tire ? then yeah , it broke in a strange way. I think most of the time the hingepin bend and dislocate itself. I had a handfull of landing directly on the nose and nothing broke so far but the hingepins bent and the arms stretched.
Maybe the aluminium part had a weakness

Yea the hit was on the front tire. Last week I did hit that left side a few times pretty hard so maybe the aluminum had some micro fractures/cracks and it finally gave. The hinge pin did bend too so who knows. Kind of a freak break if you so me ha. Oh well!!

You find the box setup to do pretty well?

i tried this today on a dry loose track, and it didn't handle like I was expecting... definitely wasn't stable for me.

i also broke my long battery strap today. >< ugh..

Yea it's decent for me. I don't have a track super close so I just adjust my driving rather than the car most of the time. (Either the track is super damn and almost muddy or bone dry) Like I said earlier my next thing to change will be the shock pistons and oil. At the track I run at is pretty easy to over jump and flat land a lot of the jumps with some pretty big acceleration bumps in corners too

The force that was applied to have broken that part AND snapped a hinge-pin in half is amazing. I have seen bent hinge pins over the years, but never a sheared off one! I honestly don't think without any of us having seen it that you will get many answers. As mentioned, the best thing is to check your droop settings and ensure the drivetrain is free.

That is not the hinge pin that is sheared, it is the long screw that holds the A block on and the two halves of the gearbox. Hinge pin is still in the arm.
Still a lot of carnage.

You are correct. Easier to see on my computer than when I was replying on the phone

I tried something similar to that before and I didn't like it. That's why I didn't try it again. So far nothing has felt better to me than Joe's Southern Nats setup from 2015. That's my starting point now no matter where I'm at. I rarely make changes too.

What setup change would help best to stop the car's rear end from getting loose when on the brakes or or letting off throttle after a high speed straight. It is not bad but is the only thing I feel I'm having issues with. Just switched to ams 7.0 setup,I'm thinking of limiting rear droop but also wondering about a diff fluid change

What is your current setup?
