Not quite. The ESC must be ROAR-approved, non-timing ("Blinky"). The old Novaks are also grandfathered in.

Tamiya bodies are very durable but may weigh a touch more than your typical sedan body. Tamiya also makes 'lightweight' versions of some of their bodies but these of course are not as durable. Tamiyas NSX and BRZ (minus the rear overhang) bodies are some of the go to race bodies at Socal races.

Hi Kevin,

Has anyone proposed adding bodies by Killerbody.com ?

Their quality is close to Tamiya and HPI. They can also be ordered through Hobby Towns

Nice...I will talk with Rob but they have some stuff that falls in line with whats on our list already so I do not see any reason not to add some of them.

Here are the full rules for the class if that is what you are asking?

Also all you guys that are racing under the USGT rules should think about signing up for the USVTA National Championship. Once you sign up you get a racer number and you have your local tracks add this number to your last name in their scoring software. Then at the end of the race day you or your race director can send in a copy of the results. You will earn points based off of where you finish and how many people you raced against. The more people you race the better your points will be. The series runs for 1 year and the new year just started August 1st.

Might want to consider the Mon-tech
EVO body ( similar to a nsx)
And the Stratos is a great body that is similar to the caddi body . I really like the stratos body on the track

Rules mention FWD are encouraged to run FWD bodies... Is there a list of FWD bodies? Or do we just go with what we know are FWD bodies assuming they are not radically 'wedged' and unrealistic?
