USGT

I'll just assume you didn't give your statement much thought. You do realize that even the various GT classes are separate and do not technically compete against each other as in real life as you put it. What I'm getting at is, if you were to go watch the 24 Hours of Daytona or the 12 hours of Sebring or the Grand Prix of Monterey you would see a field of cars that represents what we used to have before the rules changed with very few exceptions.

So where is this RC series where you race GT cars and prototypes in separate classes ?

First off there is no racing class just called GT. That's part of my point there is no clear class definition of GT in the United States Secondly I said "technically" in my post and if you know anything about IMSA racing the prototype cars and the GTLM cars and the GTD cars do race for the overall win and that my friend would be just like at my scale RC track.

I know it's been mentioned before (sorta tongue in cheek), but maybe the class should be called USSCR (U.S. Sports Car Racing) instead of USGT to keep everyone happy and be all-inclusive to GT and Prototype folks alike.

Right now, anyone who dares to point out something that's flatout wrong.... is made to pay.

There is a solution. Gary could pull several hundred of the DP bodies and then 'discontinue' them. Through the 'discontinued body' loophole, it would now become legal, if I read the rule correctly.

I've used it in BRCA GT10 (200mm pan cars), it wasn't amazing, but better than the Colt CLK GTR which I also tried. I don't remember the thickness exactly, but while it wasn't a lightweight one, it wasn't overly thick either.
They also often have a twin-pack of them at RC Mart which isn't too expensive.
I guess the Mon-Tech M10 is pushing it a bit (and good luck fitting that to a touring car!).

Mr Epp....I 100% agree!

I'm not sure you understood what I was saying.
