Anyone with good setup knowledge and experience I need some help with my setup please ! Car oversteers ONPOWER, slow corner exit.LOW grip sealed asphalt.

Ambient temp this weekend was 68°,track temp 93°, I ran sorex 32r tires. (4th raceday on them). Only day 1 felt decent.

-Trf419 with 25mm low shock towers.
-2mm carbon chassis
-4screws front topdeck, 2 most rear screws in rear.
-Trf m chassis dampers
-ride height 5.5mm
-2° neg
-Front springs- ride green(soft)
-hole 4 on tower
-37.5wt oil
-2-yok blue orings
-Stock med-stabalizer bar
-1mm inner, .5mm outer short camber link
-Front Droop 5mm
Droop measured with downstop gauge
-1.5mm under steering knuckle
-0 under arm mounts
-1c and c

-rear height-5.5mm
-2° camber neg
-Rear springs-ride yellow (softer)
-hole 4 on tower (7hole towers)
-37.5wt oil
-2 yok blue orings
-stock med stabalizer bar
-tried rear .5mm inner, 3mm outer and 1mm inner , 4mm outer short camber link(no noticeable difference)
-Rear droop- 4mm (downstop gauge)
-0-under rear arm mounts
-x and 1e

-Front spool
-rear 3000 wt(filled to top of gears)

-No spacers on wheel hubs

Standard tires on our track are sorex and team powers.(punch or soda pre race spray). Ive tried paragon black and paragon fxII from 10 minutes to 30 minutes, which is the norm for our track. Also Im currently geared for top end compared to most cars I race against that dont appear to have traction issues ! Thanks !

I gave it a try this weekend. Back to back against the Speed 6 on asphalt it showed a definite increase in front end grip and stability, however the rear seems to be lacking a little stability on high speed corners. I would definitely recommend a high downforce wing in the rear if you run the LTC 2.0.

A couple of things. We need to know what body shell you are running. For low grip asphalt, I would recommend the Protoform P37r. It has good steering awheel well as good downforce for your surface. Also, make sure your tires are not worn out. Worn tires can give you the impression that something is wrong with your car. Heavier gear oil will help with on power oversteer. Try less rear camber for more rear traction. Try half degrees at a time.

Default Low grip

Also, go to Sorex 36's. That will probably help the most.

I race a gt3 class that wont allow that body, so I use the cadillac atsv. Also the end of next month were going to the usgt tire, no more open tire rule. As far as the tires Im currently running by the way they look I would say they should have a lot left in them, by performance I would say other wise. I'm going to adjust the dual rate a bit and go from there, if I have to take alot out I will try thicker diff fluid. I did try 1.5° rear camber and didnt get any better results.

Go to 1500 or 2000 rear fluid and an F block in the rear.

@rtenzo02

go softer gear diff oil as JimmyMac said or less to 700cts - 1000, but if the rear of the car is overtaken you under speeding up to the straight u have to give an understeer effect with HARDER diff oil to compensate this.
less camber over all -about 1 to 1,25 deg.
New tires and heat them up with warmers. -more than 80% of grip level is comming from the tires- so any setup with worn out tires is useless.
reduce punch program on the ESC. -or softer motor for lower grip- you need no punch if you have no grip
sometimes it helps to increase downstop in front to shift more weight to the back under accelereation.
use lightweight Body to have more flex
replace the motor mount screw on the top of the upper chassis deck to have more flex

Always get this discussion with Tamiya releases.

Comparable prices for last years model (TRF419) were:

TRF419: 75384 yen (69800 yen)
TRF419X: 78624 yen (72800 yen)

So you will find the difference is around 4 %...

I think you will find the damper is a new design.
