Racing for today is not looking real good. Mother Nature tried to clean the track her self and left it little wet. See what the day brings us.

At the moment, we are trying to see what days most people will attend. So the track will be cleaned by the club and if we get enough we will run a race. I am racing nitro at Brendale this weekend, but the other club members will ensure the track is ready to race on if the weather is good.

The year is coming to a close and I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a joyous New year. Thank you to everyone who has helped to get the club on its own two feet or should I say in the hands of our radio's. Without all your help, we could not have got the EP Nationals run. Thanks also to Northern Beaches Hobbies, TOP racing and Walter Hobbies for coming on board and supporting the club. Hopefully Santa is kind to you all and bring you all nice new fast and reliable cars for the new year of racing. See you all soon down at the track. The coming year we will be racing the 1st and 3rd Sunday's of the month, to allow some inter club racing between IMCC and us. Might even try to setup a club challenge on the 5th Sunday's. But need to discuss this with IMCC. Thanks again Matthew Oxford aka HazzMatt.

Hi all
Im Thinking about gettin back into racing after a 10 year break, Do the 1/12 scale pan work at whalan or is the surface unsuitable. Would the 1/10 style pan car hook up better.
I want to keep it simple thats why im leaning towards the RWD style pans. (less parts etc)
Yhanks

A 10th scale pan car would probably work better due to the additional weight, and a more stable platform from being a bigger chassis.
Another option to look at if you're wanting to race a rwd car is F1. In the last couple of years there has been vast advances in F1 chassis, with a lot of manufactures releasing F1 chassis such as Xray, Serpent, Yokomo, VBC, CRC, TOP, ROCHE, and Tamiya.
Cheers
Rob.

come down to Whalan tomorrow if you have time we will be running some timed practice.
You can see for yourself and talk to some guys who are regular races.

Cheers Richard, Dave and some of you other fellas (sorry cant remember names) for your advice and lending of parts for me to give my TC a run today. Pity the motor gave up! did some testing with another motor and it worked fine so the issue was def with the motor, not the esc.
Hope to be out there again soon to cut some laps.
Cheers,
Grant M
