My Lipos are just the right size so they're blocked by the upper deck, no need to tape. The thinner T-bar is more fragile, I didn't break the 1,8 mm one but we still need Tamiya to sell the spare parts or other brands to make them.

Just to let you know that T bars are in stock at RCJAZ. I tried the carbon front suspension on carpet and found it worked well even if I can't tell it's better. I reversed the upper king pin mount to add camber and didn't change other things as the front was Ok with hard springs.

I've recently been testing a carbon version replacement t-bar made by Bezerk RC here in Australia. So far the results have been excellent both for strength and performance.

got my trf102 ready, can't wait to get it on the (carpet) track and compare it to my trf101. I actually bought a used one and will be using it for the exotek f1r3 conversion, but since that isn't out yet...time to do some laps!
