All the info you see on international websites today was posted on several Japanese websites yesterday/today...which means the info is then spread worldwide within hours.

1- Good news, looks different from other projects. Does not mean better, but Tamiya engineering is just enough .... I think a new F1 will be "evaluated" for the next shopping (:)
2- Tamiya knows the rules of today's "privacy" and "marketing", so if something "is strictly confidential" you will find it somewhere on the web in a breath..... I do not know if I hate more this way of creating "purchases anxiety" or a supposed "violation of the confidentiality".

I don't see what is your issue with this. Don't you think Tamiya Japan are aware of how this works? Multiple Japanese shops already have opened preorders for these new products with the product info posted, just as they have done with every new release for many years already. It's year 2015 we're living in so this procedure will not be news to anyone.

I have no personal or business relationship with Tamiya. If someone runs a news website, magazine, or whatever, you're just doing your job when you publish news when you find news. It's the same whether it's real cars or RC cars you're reporting on. Some RC people, even if they are just normal customers and fans of a certain brand, seem to feel they have some sort of obligation to the brand. I never got this.

The major downside of T-Bar cars is that the fibreglass degrades over time. This however hasn't stopped my F103 beating many link cars over the past couple of years!

Sounds like a hinged tbar like the aftermarket one that used to be available for the 103.

I think t bars work a little better for rubber tire. The 104 wgp is still the best modern tamiya car in my opinion.
