How do you replace the bearing in the sensor board?

Support the ears of the board and lightly tap it out. It's press fit.

How often do you change bearings in T8?
How many hours between replacement do Tekin rekommend if the temps are ok?
Thak bearing set was about 20-25-30 packs old, can't remember when i've put it in. Do you think it has happened due to bearing failure? Both Fr and Rr were in good shape, w/o any grit in it.

If the bearings spin free, they're generally ok.

Default Cut off

Is it still cut off 3.2V/cell if you set 4S in the new Las Vegas 2.50 software?

any rumors about a waterproof RX8 out there? Got a project I am looking at for the winter and would consider an RX8 if it was waterproof.

Obviously not something supported by Tekin, but I've seen people do this, and also similar with plastidipping everything but the heat sink.

Default Help soldering

Okay, so I just bought my rx8 gen 2 and a track power 850 iron. I saw ticks video on rc network and it came out real nice and went really quick. The only difference is I'm using radioshack thin 60/40 solder. I got everything pre tinned and I'm on to attaching the wires to the posts. My problem is I can't get the wire to melt in with the solder on the post. I'm afraid of ruing the esc with to much heat, what temp do u guys recommend setting my iron to and how long can I safely hold it there. I have a feeling this radioshack solder is junk.

I use Radio Shack 60/40 all the time, so doubt that's the issue. Watch my video:

Okay, can you tell me what temp u were at, I hold the iron to the post but it takes a while to get the solder to flow in the post, I don't want to ruin anything. Thanks for quick response

All the way up. The Rx8's heavy copper board and solder posts will suck a lot of heat, it's crucial to get good quick heat transfer.

Just got an RX8 g2 installed today. But after a few minutes of testing now it won't turn off. The on/off switch stopped working. Everything else works fine. It just will not turn off. Any ideas?

Thanks
