Took some pack out? Were you using 8x1.3 before?

Feels that way on high frequency bumps in the track. Stock pistons before with the same oil, 35/30. Our track surface is rough and I've had comments that the truck was skipping across the surface and you could even hear it. Now it stays in contact better and can't hear the tires skipping.

My understanding is that the 6x1.5 will feel soft on small bumps and ruts, but still provide enough pack for bigger jumps. See post 1531 on page 103. I'm going to try it as soon as my pistons come in.

I wish gopro's would zoom in. I have a couple of videos, but it's hard to see my car when it's on the other side of the track in the video.

I hear ya on the gopro. I may try a pole mount sometime and see how that will work.

What do you think of this setup for an outdoor 18 scale clay hard pack dry tract ? I will have 6 X 1.5 pistons, 40 weight front shock oil with green springs, 30 weight rear shock oil with Yellow Springs and diffs set at 773.

I think the springs are way too stiff.

I liked the 773 in v1. Currently running 775 in v3, but thinking about trying 774. Im going to try 6x1.5 & greens all around with 400/300. I think try it and see. Yellow may be a bit too stiff, but you don't know until you try it.

The stiffer spring rates are fine. It's the length that makes it them hard to run because they make your ride height too high. I wish the green front springs were 5mm shorter.

There are other springs that are shorter and will work. Same rate as green Tekno:

I have Hot Boddies blue springs in front on mine, they are about the same rate as Tekno pinks and are a couple mm shorter which is all I needed to get the ride height where I wanted up front.

Your spring rates may be too stiff.
