Default Smooth build....

Put my new 3.0T kit together. Last kit I built was the 2.0 eu buggy which was ok. I have to say, everything on this kit was a perfect fit. i didn't need to squeeze ball link end or anything like that.

Happy losi customer... :-) lets see what it can do. If it improves my laptimes like my used 3.0 buggy compared to the 2.0 did, it will be a blast... ;-)

Default Rear center dogbone

I was going to ask the same question. Might as well someone tells us the length of the rear center dogbone (from pin to pin).

Thank you in advance

About 144mm. I didn't take it out but have a highly "calibrated" eyeball

But on that note, you have about 6-8 mm of fore-aft play for chassis flex.

Default 3.0 Truggy Tools

Just picked up a used 3.0 T and would like to know on reasonable priced driver (around 30-50 bucks) that anyone can recommend with an adjustable clutch? Thanks.

Get this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Hitachi-DB3DL2...chi+3.7+DB3DL2

I've used some of the cheaper offerings, but they really don't have enough power and the clutch setting are not ideal to say the least.

If there was an unlimited like button.... I would not stop hitting it for that driver.

Best X-mas gift ever from my wife 3 years ago. I have built 8 kits with it, 1/8 and 1/10 scale. Do my weekly maintenance with it and have all but put my regular hex drivers in my "Uh-Oh" box ( the one you keep those parts and pieces that never break but you can never find them anywhere box). Got that with the Losi 8-in-1 tool which contains every bit needed in SAE and metric But the MIP and Hudys are good too. 1 battery charge lasts about a month of wrenching. Plenty of torque and a 25 way adjustable clutch. I have mine set between 3-5 and have never stripped out any plastic piece.

In short, I LOVE IT!

The 8-in-1 is a great point, that's what I've done as well, but I also have a 2.0mm MIP SpeedTip since that is what I use most (1/8, SCT, and 1/10).

If you are like me, know the clutch setting for almost every screw hole. I go 4, 5, 6, and 9 cover just about all of them for me

You can also get a 1/4" chuck to use with drill bits. The speed it lower than ideal for drilling, but it will always get the done done in a pinch. I'm on my 2nd driver in 8 years now, and trust me when I saw the first one had some serious miles on it

Looks like you eyeball is better than Harbor Freight's digital caliper lol

Thanks for the input

Funny thing.... My calibrated eyeball was purchased at Harbor Freight

In all seriousness.... I grabbed my calipers ( which are Pittsburg's from HF) and went from pin to pin but the radio tray was in the way a little bit so I had to eyeball the center diff end. I did it 3 times and came up with about the same measurement each time.

I remember someone asking this a long while ago and Drake gave an exact. If my old azz remembers correctly, it was around there but Im not 100% sure.
