The body should come with a guide that will tell you which holes to drill. The truck was designed to have the same mounting points at the SCTE. There are 2 different front body posts included in the kit. Its to offer a different mounting location if the body has a feature that interferes with the normal hole location. SCTE bodies are direct fit.

Itīs cold here in Germany...(but sometimes wet).
Thought of using the Tenshock 411 5200kv with a small pinion (12, 13, ) to get more punch on the ramps for longer jumps.

I use the Tenshock 411 4600kv already. Power consumption changed to 4000mah in a 5 min race from 2000mah with the SC 10 4x4 driven by LRP 2-pole x12L 4,5.

so for the new vehicle, what appears to be areas of upgrade to get right away? So far looks like:

- Aluminum Servo Horn
- Aluminum Front hingepin brace

Hexes "might" be an issue but seems its more so not cranking them down. That about sum it up?

[QUOTE=FAO;13996033]Repairing my damaged car, i noticed that the smallest pinion to mount is the 14 teeth, you canīt get the motor nearer to the spur gear. So, ordering 11,12 and 13 was sensless. (this may become a problem with a 5200kv motor)
17 and 18 may be critical concerning motor temperatures, so 15-16 are the right ones.

Can anyone else comfirm this?
I'm planning on running a hw 3400kv on 3s and wanted to gear for efficiency/power. I don't want to run into issues with pinion fitting. Anyone have a idea what pinion size I will be using? I was thinking 14 or lower? I will be racing med/large outdoor tracks.

this could be because the .3 comes with the lightened lowered motor mount. possibly with the regular mount this won't be an issue ?

With just few ride's behind I'll think you have it right. I hope the second issue will be corrected by Tekno with new kitt's. Aluminium servo arm sure will not be in the box when it would not be a wise move ( should be many for all spiline's).

More traction and tighter turning in 180s.

14 is the smallest on the old mount. Maybe try flipping the new mount around to see if you can get smaller.

I did a search on here and saw one person asked this question, but I don't think it was ever answered. I've built more kits than I can remember including my last SCT410, but I'm feeling like I did something wrong here and can't figure it out.

The lowest front ride height I'm able to attain with the kit set-up is 27mm and that's with the front shock collars all the way up. The kit set-up sheet says the front ride height should be 25mm. I must be missing something, but I can't figure it out. The new locking shock spring perches have the knuckles pointing to the outside of the vehicle, and I verified I'm using the correct springs.

Thanks . . . Matt

You will need to run it a bit to get the springs to settle in.

Could you expand a bit on the springs "settling in"? Thanks
