No, not the 2.0 parts but the V2 upgrade we got when the new bigger inner bearings came. So it should be the same parts as the TE and first Be had. And as the TE/Be had the shocks infront you now have to switch sides of the hubs to get the raisers in the same side as the camberlinks. Much the same as we did when we moved the dapmers to the rear ourselves before the kit came out.
I'm not even sure if the wheelaxle is new either but looking at the partnumber it isn't associated(?) with any previous car? But then I can't find the V2 upgrades partnumber for the wheelaxle either so it might be the same as the old V2 upgrade one?

Update sheets with part numbers and instructions to latest version if you have the previous version.

Hi fellas, I just switched over to Serpent both 1/10 and 1/8.. Just wondering if the aluminum servo mount and carbon tray set SER600681 is a must for the ebuggy? I have mine almost done and have noticed alot of flex where the vertical mounting servo is, and esc mounting is tight also..

I have been running the stock one for about a year, and haven't noticed anything bad or different. I know the carbon tray does tidy things up a bit, esc mounting is always going to be tight due to where the 3 tray screws are.

Hi, I just installed the SER600681 and am really happy with it - it looks great, frees up some space, secures the servo better and is 40 grams lighter overall.
Cheers.

Hi,
Does anyone know if Serpent are going to be looking to rival Tekno & MIP[Losi] and release a Super light Cobra BE?
Is it realistic to hope that BE could be lightweight? anyone feeling trim?
[I have got mine down to 3460gms-with tekin rx8,T8i,4600 shorties,ser600681]
I'm just not confident that i will be able to get it down to minimum weight 3200gms. [or weight similar to our nitro "friends"].
The only options I have left that I know of are - alloy screws[strategically placed] and cut/drill some battery tray out, tekin pro4 hd 1850 - 50 grams lighter than t8i [but will worry about motor heat build up].
I cant find any aftermarket[BCE,M2C] chassis's.?
Lightweight drive shafts.?
Maybe some plastic non critical parts from RTR cobra?..
[Note - Yes I do understand that car performance is about balance and set-up but why should I be expected to push 3460gms around the track when the nitro guys breeze around with 3200gms full tank].?
Thanks.

I have gotten my car down to 3280 with alu screws, LW radio tray, serpent wheels, Ti screws, ti turnbuckles, cutting material out of the battery boxes, T8i motor and shorties. This is with out a plastic spur gear and still steel axles so there is more weight to be taken off. To be honest between this car and my normal car which weighs 3600 grams the laptimes are always within .1 depending on the track. The heavy car will be easier to drive when the track is really rough. None of the pros from Tekno run the LW car at big outdoor events. I think that car is more for 2s with SCT motor and batteries not 4S big motor racing. Almost all brands of ebuggies will be in the range of 3500-3700 grams even at the national level and the best drivers in the worlds.

has anyone run the leadfinger RC body on their Cobra yet?
http://shop.leadfingerrc.com/Assassi...LFR100006e.htm
If so, what are your thoughts? How does it compare to the stock body?
TIA!

I bought the rear uprights (600476). I'm trying to figure out which side is left vs right. Looks like the both have a hole that was originally for a set screw. I'm assuming this hole will face the rear of the buggy if I place the left upright on the left side, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
