Default Serpent 811-Be 2.0

Good evening gents! I just purchased a couple of Serpent 811-Be 2.0 almost rollers. Thinking about purchasing a used Airtronics m11 controller to go with one. Is this a good choice? Also, any advice for finishing them out (wheels, electronics, etc) at reasonable prices? Thanks in advance for any help for a noob!

Has anyone mounted a Viper VTX8 esc in this car? I've seen RX8s but the Viper is slightly shorter and slightly wider than the RX8. Probably not far off from the Hobbywing 1/8 scale esc so if anyone has one of them in this car that would be helpful to know as well. Real estate is very tight on this car. Thanks

Had a great time with my Serpent Ebuggy 2.0! The Buggy was on point Tq'ed and Won out of 30 drivers! I think I was the only Serpent In the class. I would to thank Freddy Villalona for he's help on both of my Serpent buggys! Until the next one!

No other mods needed to rotate the motor mount? I'm not sure if I understand this correctly. Can anyone explain please? =)

Hey guys,

Just finished up my first year of rc and it was all 1/10 scale. I just bought two E-Buggies (Serpent and Mugen MBX7-eco) and I'm going to run them both to see what I like better. I bought them both used and I'm going to put that back to a stock setup before testing.

I printed out the stock setup for each and wanted to know if there is anything I should change from that to start with? I've read quite a bit of this thread and remember people saying something about changing the oil weight in the rear and maybe even center diffs. stock setup is 12/12/7. What about shock oil weight? stock setup calls for 300 cst.

TIA! Can't wait to run this thing!

2 days later and no response? It was either a stupid question or this thread is pretty dead....
