With the rear offset of the HPI VTA rims and tires the shells will not fit. But other companies make same to similar bodies. So it should nor is it a big deal imo

But I dont see it an issue in GT.

If they don't fit then it does not matter if they are on the list. They are just really good looking shells. I want all of the best ones to be legal, but if they don't work then they don't work.

Here's a Vaterra Camaro. It was super cool and more detailed than the HPI. Mirrors and all too. You can get them in clear.

But, alas, it is too narrow for our chassis/wheels. I tried it. The guy I did it for said that he and some other guys were running the Vaterra's locally because their hobby shop started that class. But, obviously, its a club class just at that location.

would you also sand the nose? Before or after painting?

That body looks nice, but I don't see what is "throwback" about it. Is that a paint scheme someone ran "back in the day"?

It uses the original logo and colour scheme from the year PROTOform was founded, 1992. (hence the number choice too )

This body is the handiwork of Jeff Matthews from Columbia, SC. There are spots where the body is "rusted through". I really like the shattered window (although it would likely be considered illegal in official USVTA competition). Jeff has made "rusted" wheels as well, but I don't have them.
