I got the vgr springs in yesterday for the bog bores and wow! These things are a HUGE difference from the springs that come on them. Will 70wt shock oil be ok?

Yah lol those vgr springs are no joke. I run 45wt with one spacer and like it. Its hard but yet soft at the same time. I like the "plush" feeling in suspension. Allows me for some moderate jumping. I see ppl running 60wt - 80wt with the vgr and personally I haven't tried it yet. I'm unsure of what the heavier oil will do with heavier springs.....I'd like to know tho if you do the 60wt on how it runs.

So should probably try 60 instead of 70 then?

That would be up to you, like I said I run 45wt and I like how they shocks feel. But at the same time I see ppl running a higher wt like 60-70wt. This is an area more on trial and error, as its more to your preference on driving style too. I'd say try one wt and if you don't like it go to another wt.

I had the VG racing springs with 60wt oil and no spacers. Worked good. Never bottomed out.

Thicker fluid is more damping? Did it still make the suspension soft with the 60wt?

ok the chassis says out for delivery. I did a good bit of work last night have the shocks filled (ended up with 70wt), mip's installed, rpm installed, shock towers installed, body post, and bumpers installed. Couple questions. The t bone rear bumper looks like it will in no way shape or from fit without heavy cutting. I also want to go ahead and upgrade servos. What is a good middle of the road route to take that will remain waterproof?

Do you want one single servo or run a dual servo setup? Personally I run 2 savox 0231 which are waterproof and 208oz a piece. So I get 416oz waterproof, metal gears. They run $44 on eBay each .

To me it doesn't really matter if it is dual or single. just more that it is waterproof. Do you have to run a bec for that or will it be ok without one?

Probably don't need one, you can adjust the internal bec on the mm or mm2 but I choose to run an external cc bec. Just to have some insurance. I also run 2 fans as well.

The tbr rear fits fine. I have it on my flm emaxx and my 3906. I dont like the screws they supply with it though. They seem soft.

maybe I was not looking at it right, but it seems the rpms true track will hit it pretty good.
