On our new layout which is much tighter and twisty then before I am noticing my car had a reluctance to roll causing on and off power push and a loss of traction in the corners. Forward bite is also suffering on the straights. Looking for a simple setup changes to make. Thinking of keeping the stock Pistons, nut dropping from 35/35 to 32,5/32.5 and going to silver springs over the green used on Drakes setup. Is there anything else I could try to gain back the lost steering and side traction I need? Tires could be a very big factor. Running half worn bar codes at the moment as it is the tire of course for the guys running Mugens who are not having here issues.

Yeah. I have typos and electrons. Will soften up the suspension and change out tires. I think the issue is the car is too light with shorty packs using such stiff suspension.

I run the short steering link also. Your shock package sounds fine. Sounds like your overpowering the rear end some you can tame down the ESC and run #2 profile also. Good luck

So I took a lot of the suggestions here and it made the car better. The biggest difference was indeed the battery. Talked to Jake Thayer about steering and he said to use the Truggy caster blocks spaced forward. I have a set of 3.0 non-inclined truggy caster blocks. Thing is when I put them on my car it seems that no shimming is required? fits as snug as the buggy blocks. Did I get the wrong thing? Totally confused...

Ok so I posted this question in a different thread and didn't find anything on this thread. So here goes. So I'm thinking about buying a Tekno elektri-clutch for my 3.0 buggy. I run on a pretty slick track and wanted to know the pros and cons. I have never used an e buggy or truggy with a clutch setup on it. Just wanted to get some feedback. I've heard great things from other people, but wanted to see if any of you have had any luck. Thanks.

I need to make a decision of what buggy I am going to get. I am stuck on the 8ight e 3.0 or the mugen mbx7r eco. I've had most every brand but serpent I'm the past along with the losi 2.0, the mbx7 eco and mbx6r eco. Also drove an mp9 tki3 e for a while. How does the 8ight e 3.0 compare to the mbx7r eco? Or Mp9? Thanks.
