Looking to get my feet wet in the on-road electric 1/10 scene and a friend recommends those sprint 2 flux RTRs.
any other recommendations? also being a tinkerer, i dont mind getting myself a kit.
any advice would help alot.
budget: <$500
occupation: still student
probability of upgrading: $100-200 per year
thanks!

You can buy 2s lipo battery stick pack. Get at least 40c 5000mah 2s lipo battery. Buy a universal type charger like imax b6 which can charge different battery chemistry. Using lipo, make sure you store it in storage mode if you will not be using it for more than 2days and also buy a battery low voltage detector. Hope it helps

hi everyone
ok I am considering getting into this hobby. partly out of sheer boredom (I have a job that can be boring and dry at times)
I am interested in both on-road and off-road kits. for on-road, I somehow prefer shaft based cars for general running around and occasional bit of racing. not so keen on drifting. I did some research and looked at the kits at stargek and it seems the only shaft based car (except the tt-01/02) is designed more for drifting than racing?
as for off-road, I am looking to get something like the volkswagen campervan, lunchbox or the axial scx wagon 4WD
rcplanet.com/Axial_SCX10_Ram_Power_Wagon_1_10_4WD_RTR_AXI90037_ p/axiax90037.htm
I notice a lot of various brands for the electric motors, the aftermarket parts, servos, esc and even the chassis itself. to be honest, I have no idea what to choose.

Hello Everyone,
new to this hobby, just got a Vaterra Twin Hammer, its already been assembled and rtr. Would like to know if there are any experienced RC mods who can help me modify this car to make it stronger and cooler looking? Would be happy to pay for your time/services. I use this car mainly just for bashing around with my 6yo son. cheers!
