All of it. It is listed in my list:
http://www.euronet.nl/users/tooms/timings/timings.jpg

The port height is different compared with most engines because it is an extra long stroke but if you only look at the timings and compare them with many others in the list then you will see they are not special.

Oh wel, I did start with something and every engine I get to work on I will take the timings. It is always nice to know what is going on and you can learn a lot of them what makes it more easy to modyfy an engine.
If you have 2 same engines but performing different or feel different then you can be sure there is something different in timings. I have seen a lot of differences between same models.

I started this when I did see this list:
http://www.first-racing.eu/steuerzeiten.html
(mainly offroad)

The idea is simple with a stand that puts in some light into the crankase:

With a short manual:

I have seen that from some research I have done. Very nice contraptions you come up with. I am trying to learn more about the function of these little engines so I can apply it to RC drag racing. Its been an interesting year or so and I have learned a lot from reading on this forum and other sources! I am making some progress in tuning but haven't got to technical yet into modifying. I have modified a few here and there but mainly opening a little the crankshaft intake. Interestingly, my best results were obtained with a stock engine and I have tried engines from a few different modifiers. I still have a lot to learn!

I'm thinking of picking up an RB txr motor for my sedan. My question is do I need to use RB glow plugs or can I use nova plugs?? And will nova pipes and manifolds work well with the motor??

Thanks,

Thanks,
I have one of the short stroke (2012) versions of this engine.
The RB 2668 pipe & manifold work best with this engine. I have found the RB glow plugs last longer, but the Nova Rossi glow plugs will work.

Hi nee some opinion have anyone compared beetwen this 2 engine rb txr and nova flash pt which is better interm of speed long track and reliability. Is it true rb can handle high temp due to better piston sleve compare to nova?

Thanks

They're made in the same factory under the exact same processes, the timings of these engines are virtually identical, Novarossi piston & sleeves won't fit RB engines without a little modification. But they're essentially the same, so keeping an RB engine running beyond it's production life cycle is entirely possible using Novarossi parts, a Novarossi rod can be modified to fit an RB too if for any reason you struggle to get an RB rod.

Do not count on it.... but a R7 rod can simply be modified to fit RB.

On the other hand I think you will find the original rods for a while.

I also did read there is a possibillity that Rody will give a try to save the brandname.

Very sad. I used to run RB motors in offroad. They were the best that day.
