Futaba is not a small brand. They have a bit of an idea of what they're doing

No clue whether the 4PX has any issues, but as JayL said Futaba does have a history of denial with at least one issue (i.e. the original surface FASST recievers over heating). I wouldn't completely dismiss report(s) of issues just because Futaba is big company that has been around a long time...

Damn, what coupon code did you use? The best I could find in my email was a Gold coupon that was $80 off $500-$624.99 purchase. So $470 after coupon. Amain is $30 higher when you factor in the $40 coupon and ~$10 in Amain bucks you earn with the purchase. I did a bit of an impulse buy and order from Amain just now.

Right now tower is running a special for club members . $540 for the radio - $80 coupon code plus $36 in e-cash. That gets th radio down to $424 . Pretty cheap . I'm still torn between the 4px and m12 .

I got a question for everyone. I have two LRP flow esc's that the buttons are stuck on and I cant recalibate them. They work perfectly fine and LRP want $137 a piece to repair/replace them so its basically pointless to get them repaired.
I have a 4pl now and my son has a 3pl and I can bind either of these radios to the bad button esc's and the end point calibration is correct for both radios.
I would like to get the 4PX but I don't want to have to replace two ESC's at the same time. So is the calibration end points coming from the receiver or the radio? Do you think if I just leave the current recievers in the cars the endpoints will be the same between the 4pl and 4PX? This would buy me some time on getting new esc's.

Anyone have any insight to my calibration question? I would like to get this radio while its in stock and cheap but I don't want to spend another $400 on replacing working esc's.
