Is it possible for two buttons with the code 28011 be different? A friend from California sent me a button but one is thinner than the other.

Could be, then probably the number of dots on the buttonheads are different. But it is not real different it is just the tolerance.

Nova ISON GT got it done once again at the at the ROAR Region 1 Onroad Championship in Port Jervis, NY over the weekend. Took home the TQ, 1st place and the Regional Championship title. Thank you Serpent America and Novarossi for equipped me with this awesome engine.

Whats the difference between the special bearing and a regular novarossi 11.9 bearing?
Im curious because, I have a modified flash crank I would like to put in a keep on. When I measured with calipers, they're the same. So whats the real difference?

So I bought a used car and engine from an rctech member.

Did a little reading about this engine.. Likes to implode or so I've read. Hope mine engine is OK.

It's a novarossi max sl3 with novarossi efra 2652 pipe.

Couple of questions since I couldn't find a manual.

Which glow plugs are recommended?

What should the initial needle settings be so I can try to start and tune it?

How much nitro % fuel? My local hobby shop carries VP fuel so I thought about buying that.

What type of oil do I use for the air filter?

Anything else I should be aware of when firing her up?

I've got one of these. Mines got a little over 3 gals. on it. I changed the rod at 1.5 gals. Runs very well.
I run O'Donnell 77 plugs in my .12s. I would run a #6 Nova plug.
The idle gap should be around .5mm. The low speed out from bottom 2.5 turns and the High speed 4 turns.
If it was running before you bought it, I would try to start it. I'm not a big fan of twisting the screws all the way in.
Novarossi sells a bottle of oil with their filters. Otherwise,I have a quart of Golden Spectro I got at a motorcycle shop. I kind of like it better because it's blue and you can see how much your using and leaving on the filter.
I run VP Powermaster and use 16%.
I would personally tear the engine down for a thorough inspection.

Factory mod pre run is already available. The virtus is still fairly new and just rolled out to.12 and offroad engines so doubt it'll be succeeded anytime soon

Being a Nova fan but only planning to race club level I'll be buying the ISON .12 and was after pipe and header recommendations?
