Thanks in advance.
The ORCA VX1 has no need for a receiver pack or booster. Its smaller than some of the others that have boosters built in as well and much much lighter. It does have external caps but even with the cap mounted to the side its still lighter and smaller than the others with built in caps.

I like the viper VTX 1 for it can run 2S, some of the 1S ESC can only run 1S. With the viper I can put it in my touring car or F1 if I need to. I actually keep one in my pit bag as a spare just for that reason, with the VTX 1 I am covered if I blow up a ESC at the track no matter what car it is.

The Sanwa(Airtronics) does not have a booster. It is meant to be used with their receiver and servo, both of which will run on 1s.

A friend of mine uses super vortex zero rx472 but no sanwa servo, his car run absolutely fine in 1s 4.5t with turbo

I don't own one but I read the manual. It lists 1s or 2s lipo input and 6.0v 3 amp BEC, the only compatibility that is mentioned is with the SSL that allows changes and telemetry to be monitored from the radio will only work with an Airtronics/Sanwa receiver and radio system. A 94761 servo is rated for 4.8v or 6.0v, not 3.7 and as an example the JR 3650 is also rated for 4.8v or 6.0v. I'm just curious where you are getting your info from?

Agreed. Awesome ESC for 1/12. The latest firmware is really nice as well. I've noticed a huge difference in !s performance.

I plan to run the Orion R10 1S ECS. Will this be competitive in stock? What software update is recommended?

I own one. The servo to use(that will fully utilize the M12 capabilities) is the Sanwa SRG-HS(94972). It is rated for one cell use, nominal voltage input 3.7V.

The M12 displays receiver voltage, it is battery voltage when using the vortex with one cell. Unless there is a setting for the bec that I have not found, it does not have a booster circuit.

Cool

That's a really nice looking 1s esc
and...
It doesn't require an additional box to adjust

Added to "The List"

Yes, 100% just as fast as everything else.

+1 It is a great ESC, I've been using them since they came out.

Wouldn't that be Mode 1, cut-off voltage ?

That is what I thought, but this is just the cut off for lipo protection. Did not change the bec output. On this note, the esc comes set for 2s use, in order to set it up for one cell(and set the throttle inputs etc) you will need to power it up with a two cell battery. DAMHIK.
