I think its going to be a nice engine ! When those engines were hot a few years back I never really messed with them too much...However over the last few years I have been doing more and more with OS with amazing results on both the short and long stroke models...IMO they are one of the most difficult to modify effectively but the results are fantastic and definitely worthwhile....

Hey Neal, good to see you are still going strong brother!! Some things changed in my life and I had to bow out but its great to see you are still around and successful. I wouldn't doubt if some of my old customers have gravitated over to you. Your engines always ran hard!! I was just popping in say hello. I haven't been on the site in a long time but recently starting receiving emails saying the old thread had a weak pulse lol. Hope things are well and keep up the great work brother!!

A RB 2097 on a 41001 manifold will run awesome..... will even run awesome on a 41021 manifold as well..............2058 is really good, but I think the 2097 is better on this engine

Ran yesterday at my local track. Trying the clocked RB blast in my truggy. I was very happy on how well it ran with more than enough power down the straight and on jumps. It pushed the truck around with ease. Another winner neal and John.

Here is a little video of tank number 10 of the break in on my clocked Picco 5TR team edition on the nova 41001 header and RB 2097 pipe, the engine was running at 205f at its hottest so cant wait to get a real race tune on this engine.

hi neal
in other threads you recommend a short manifold,is there one you could recommend that keeps the pipe as fare forward as possible so i don't have
to hack my new bodyshell.

the 2058 works really nicely on it....another nice pipe we have just started messing with is the RB 2097....it seems to perform quite strong on the 17.6 mm stoke engines...giving them awesome low end power and a ballistic top end....... We have run them with good result on the 41001 and the 41021.. the 41021 was able to pull a lower clutch stall better and didn't give up much of any on the top end.... but i think it will come down to driver preference for the track conditions......

Over the years I have done quite a few....but usually conflicts with sponsors limits how much I end up doing...One of the last guys who's engines I did was kyle McBride when he was rolling with OS...In the end I just don't have the means to sponsor any of the bigger names so it is what it is......
