I think you guys are right the B44.3 Worlds edition will be a nice upgrade for most. My car is well beyond that point.

If all their doing is releasing a Worlds kit with a few upgraded parts i dont think ill be buying an entire new kit. The only reason i would buy a new kit would be if it came in metric so that way i dont need to keep 2 sets of tools in my box.

id be happy if it just had the b5r rear arms & hubs, the v2 big bores, aluminum chassis, and only redesign a front arm
ability to do shorty would be NICE with an aluminum chassis addition tho, if they could do it cheaply enough to make it legal still (accept saddles, or just make it able to fit a full stick on one side LOL)
and those exotek drive cups are pretty sweet.

Here is the new Schelle conversion: They said production models will be anodized blue to match the car.

And the press release:
"Schelle Racing have their new shorty pack conversion in use here in Chico, with designer Kurt Wenger racing it. Designed to be used with their previously released aluminium B44.2 chassis plate, the new set includes the carbon top decks, battery mounting plates as well as the central motor mounting brackets. The conversion allows the shorty pack to be used in the car and to accommodate this the central drive train has to be reversed with the motor placed parallel to the battery pack behind the centre slipper on the left side of the car. With the use of the shorty pack and the conversion parts being similar in weight and weight distribution to the parts they replace the car can be lightened by around 80 grams. The parts we were shown are prototypes with the final aluminium parts being anodised blue to match the rest of the car. Schelle Racing also have a new rear ball stud mount for the B5 which features an extra mounting hole which while shown to us in black finish will be available in anodised blue."

Average Motor weight is 185 -200G
Average Lipo Shorty weight is 210 - 240G
Not a huge difference to make up... Aprox 1/2 - 1.25 oz max.
May actually be more balanced then saddle with motor on one side?

Another theory into the new 4wd is they cancelled the .2, ae probably won't do so if just a world's is on the way. No, they have at least a .3 coming if not a b54. And from watching every single b44 break sometimes in a race, I hope it has the durability of the b5s.
