I have never seen AE discontinue a popular car without a new one within weeks away. With TLR Kyosho etc having new cars no way they give up the market until next spring. If so not good. B44.2 is too popular to leave a whole in the lineup.

If that were the case they wouldn't discontinue it now. They would wait and try to get out all the old stock kits they could.

The recent price slash and now discontinuing would suggest they are clearing space for a new product. Ie. You stop having your parts supplier producing the obsolete items and ramp up production new items. Unless you are leaving that market. With competitors releasing new buggies recently and the revitalization of 4wd buggy I would highly doubt AE is leaving the scene.

B5 is out and running now. B55 should follow. Then if they plan on redoing the sct's most likely that follows afterwards.

Robbie

B55 ?

What's that extra 5 standing for ?

5 months from now ? Lol

Believe the .3 will just be another C4 .

Something to get by with until the B54 arrives.

B44 was double the drive wheels of the b4 so b55 double the drive wheels of the b5

I don't think it they would use.3 business. Who knows....

It wouldn't make sense to wait long for release info. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some announcement before the end of the month. (sits hopefully)

Anyone know of an easy way to set the slipper? The spring is so stiff that its hard for me to screw the nut any further.

remove the slipper from the car.

Take the spring and compress it flat with a pair of pliers.while your compressing the spring coat the threaded shaft with blue Lock Tight and let dry.

reassemble with about 1/4 in of thread showing past the slipper nut.

Install inside car , can readjust the slipper with a 5/64 driver by sticking it inside the hole in the side of slipper nut.

If you are using brand new pads ?

Will need to break them in a pack or two ,then readjust the slipper to get good acceleration with out it being locked up tight.

They are both similar in strength.
Bigger difference in the handling .

Most use the plastic version.

Get the RPM arms if you want the most durable front arms and regular rear arms... not hard

The hard arms doesn't have flex so on impact it will break easier ?

Yes, less flex, more brittle. Should have better performance on high bite tracks at the expense of being easier to break.
RPM arms and nothing else for the front if you are concerned about durability.

The hard plastic was not designed for extra strength.
Its extra stiffest compared to the plastic& offers another tuning option

On higher traction surfaces Hard arms are used.

IM I guess nobody noticed the improved durability
of the plastic B44 front arms.
