The AE FActory Team B44.2 Thread
#7921

This was back when I had more free time and was @ OCRC a lot during the weekday daytime hours. AE guys were there regularly testing some new internals on the 4wd platform. I didn't snoop or ask much, but they were always concerned about the body being on and hiding the guts.
I expect this to be a B44.3 kit (maybe B44.2 WC). My guesses are gear diffs, different chassis length, and option for shorty lipo config. Obviously v2 12mm shocks. Who knows if it will have new plastics / arms. I do not expect this to be a whole new platform, like a "B5-44" or something of that nature.

Have a good team mate with the new Schelle short pack conversion.
Awesome alloy bridge proto type , very nice...
Not sure if that will be included however.
Only got a few laps with it though... Boo!
Noticeable improvement in the corners .

There's a good picture here but it looks like mostly stock stuff on it. Maybe like you said a new chassis configuration...

Am i the only one that thinks its odd they mentioned every one of Cavalieri's winning cars at the SDRC Top Gun except his "4wd"?
#2 picture- "Ryan Cavalieri's winning B5M"
#23 picture- "Ryan Cavalieri's winning RC8.2e"
#24 picture- "Ryan Cavalieri's winning 4wd"
Conspiracy?

Believe they are planning for a optional gear diff because I have seen Hartsons with a heavy duty drive shaft cva & also seen a improved or strengthen plastic drive cup.
Many don't realize after they buy the steel gears the cups on the slipper fail because their the next weak link in the chain.
Another part to often fail when using the steel. Oknow...
