Hahahaha. No.

I'm at the Summer Nationals away from home at the moment. Surikarn is here and everything. God he's a great driver. Just ultra consistent and super fast, with both the R40 and the Pro4. I think he'll take both titles nicely.

EvoIV still sitting here waiting for TCS in March... Till then... it's the Snowbirds for me with the 415. But I'm still trying to decide on a body for the TCS race... I dunno..... might go back to the NSK...

Better if he had a Tamiya car.

Absolutely. Never the less he's f'n quick around and I'm sure he'd be just as quick if he was running a Tamiya, whether it be 415 or Evo IV.

I thought someone said the Modena won't fit the EvoIV right because the nose is too high. So if you mounted it... there would be a big air gap between the body and ground?? That's why I'm not goin to the Modena. But if this is untrue... then I'll definately goin with the Modena. I wish I still had mine when I ran it with the 414.... but it's gone. I had a decent 19t setup for the RCO with an NSK 2003(?) body on an EvoIII. Anyways... let me know about the Modena... I'd like to run that body instead of the NSK....

SpeedtechRC had the EvoIV at a good price. They were in stock yesterday, but not anymore. Other shops would be in Hong Kong or Ebay...

Speaking of TCS legal bodies, somewhere online a Tamiya Alfa 156 body. It looks like an older part# so what is the deal... does it work? Is it TCS legal?

Fraz it is an older body from the TA02 and 03. It will work but you could have some fitment issues as it was a narrow body to begin with. As for handling oyu will find quite a few that will work alot better.

I think you are thinking of the 155 and yes that is from the 03 era. It is super narrow at ~180mm because I used to run one on my 03-F. I don't recall actually seeing the 156 body and it looks from the Tamiya web site like it came with the discontinued FF-02. http://www.tamiyausa.com/search.php?q=alfa+156

I am a bit of an Alfa nut (my daily driver is a 3.0 Milano) and AFAIK the Alfa 156 didn't even exist back when the 03 was released.

oops forgot about that one too. Yes it was narrow(not 180 though) also it also did not have much in the handling dept. It also rode very high you had to completely re-cut the wheelwells to get the body anywhere close to Terra Firma.
