Tekno RC EB48 Thread
for your setup with the 1.2 x 8 hole piston in the rear, would you recommend this for conditions that are very very rutted or would say the 1.3 x 8 hole setup be better on the rear?
and if so, any suggestions on what spring and oil weight combo to use?

Yes that is the correct way, he is VERY helpful. Give him some time as he is a business owner and most likely fairly busy

I guess the one good thing, I lost to another tekno :PYup, mind you LRC pills in the rear and lowest setting the rear front pills.
Not sure if I noted this on the setup sheet... no center brace and rear brace is in place, but not screwed into the rear diff case up top.
I run the same LRC setup in my truggy and everyone is amazed by how well it handles.. so yes and yes they work well. Same setup lowest position on the front rear pills and the lrc rear pills.

this came up a few pages back, so I contacted TEKNO direct and was told by thomas that the pics in the first page and the eb48 manual are incorrect, with the 1.5 hanger I was told to refer to the NB48 manual it is correct and the eb48 manual and set up sheets will be corrected in future printings, here is a snap shot of it. and it shows the center dot being 3.5 deg.

yes as quoted to me by tekno, the nb48 set up sheets reflect the newer 1.5 rear hanger and the degrees shown are correct.
A while back I mentioned I was going to try the durango 18T aluminum pinion and a few of you wanted me to post results, I found it to be super smooth and quiet, and the weight savings are very noticeable on acceleration and braking (actually had to turn the brakes down on sct), I ran it for 3 nights in my sct 410 and my eb48 on high bite clay with some hard on throttle landings, and it shows no signs of wear, I wish they made it in a 17t though as 18t is a little too tall for my sct, see the weight savings as compared to my 17t pinion, below
