All good mate, I was going to sell up all together but got a huge offer on my Durango fleet so sold them and I'm keeping the Tekno's now anyway.

So I took my truck to the track for the first time yesterday and despite my terrible driving, I was super impressed with the way it handled the track. I think it does need a drop in the diff oils from the kit settings though.

The think that really amazed me was the durability. A section of track barrier pipe has come off at the end of the back straight of the track, leaving a metal stake poking out of the ground. Of course, I hit it dead on the front suspension arm going close to full throttle. The resulting damage was............a slightly bent sway bar and that's it!

The truck is just incredible, the body however, not so much. I think I punched the ends of the shock tower though the hood the first time I landed upside down. Hopefully someone will have a better solution to drywall tape and shoe goo on the stock body.

Went ahead and knocked out the build of mine late last night. Now on to the electronics.(Still hadn't put the wing screws on yet but other than that it's done lol)

Let a pro driver (whom i will leave un named) take my truck for a spin. Well lets just say he got a little to comfortable. He snagged a pipe that was sticking out on a long sweeper at about 40mph lol.

I built it to stock factory specs and plan to give that a try first. Can't wait to be in full Tekno electric force with my sct, eb and et lol.

Tekno's are addictive! I have same fleet, but will soon be converting my sct into a light weight ebuggy indoors. 4x4 SCT was my first race class and i'm just getting burned out on it, tired of buying bodies, etc. Just really enjoying how the truggy and buggy handle and I can race both in the same day without effecting how i drive one or the other.

Driving the truggy as a second class gives me the chance to try out new lines with the more forgiving platform and otherwise just driver it harder. Usually about a second faster on a ~35s track with the truggy.

Sct was kind of the opposite, the difference in traction made me drive the sct too hard and the eb too soft when running on the same day.

I have 2 et48s and a eb48.2 and seriously considering buying the SCT410. Not a SCT fan but the class is huge down our way and the reviews on the SCT410 say its heavy and built almost identical to the eb48 but with 12m hubs so i thought it would not be much of a concern switching from buggy to sct on race day ?? So your saying it drives completely different to the buggy ??
