Been noticing the same thing on my setup. I'm loving how planted it is but pushes mid turn, on high bite and low bite. Me and Mike Asher have been discussing it and we are thinking a solid solution would be the 10 degree spindles. That's my first change I will make as well as dialing out a lil front brake. After that we will see but I'm thinking a lil softer sway bar to get it to dump a lil more. But my gut feeling is the 10 degree spindle change will be what we are looking for as it was exactly the the same on high bite and loose conditions back to back days. I've been testing some piston oil combos as well and I'm liking teknos 8x1.4 fr with 600cst and 8x1.3 rr 525 cst. A lil more testing before I get a good solid setup, but definitely heading the right direction as of now
I am happy with how easily this vehicle breaks down. I did a little cleaning today, and while it has the nice nitro mess, it cleaned up pretty well due to how easy access and disassembly is.

And to add, the eb48 has the 10 degree spindles which also helps it turn in so hard and aggressive, which is another reason I think that's what we need to do Eric

Generally less caster is going to give more off power steering at the expense
of mid corner and exit steering. I say generally since caster can do different
things depending on how the front wheels are loading up.

ran a great race today at wolfpack rc in Arkansas, took home 2nd in sc, 2nd in pro ebuggy and 5th in pro nitro buggy. Teknos ran awsome all weekend and had a fast crowd, tekno took some podium wins in open ebuggy and etruggy as well. Here is a vid of one of the quals with me(blue) and team driver kevin McCoy(Orange). I ended up qualifying 8th in ebuggy and 6th in nitro, had to work for the 2 and 5 finish. The track was blown out, hard packed and dusty...really dusty and changed every round.

Seems logical to me and I agree I was seeing a similar issue, especially in the sharp 180 degree S curves. I am running a little lighter oils and planned to star testing with swaybars and droop settings also. Sadly, no racing the next two weekends due to travel, but I do already indeed have some 5042's in my EB48 stash (try to keep enough spares for myself and any of the local guys that might break). I might be able to hit practice after a few setup changes this week.

The rear Ackermann location should be the one that gives you more off power steering into a turn, not the front. The front position should give more high speed on power steering. Be sure to adjust your toe settings and radio endpoints after any Ackermann change.

What is average lifetime for the clutch bearings in this kit if they're reoiled every 0.7L? Mine 5x11 bearing lost it's metal shield at 2.8L mark, and i'm guessing is it was due to lifetime or due to small airleak in the carb and temps close to 300F? (Can somehow such temp affect this very front bearing?)

I wish we had multiple caster block options. 10 - 15 Or an adjustable caster block option.

Its great to see the setups that people have posted but I was wondering. I know many (like myself) HATE having to read pages and pages of posts to find set ups. Is there a way to move those to the first post? Or someone setup a page with the setups and put the link on the first post if not their signature?

Yes; I've been thinking about a .21 short course because of all the common platforms between the two.
Seems to click. The SCT410 was born from the EB48, using a lot of the same parts.
Why couldn't a nitro SCT410 be born from the NB48?
I wish I had an NB48 so I could sit down and figure out how to get the SCT410 to work in nitro. I'm thinking just take an NB48 and put the front and rear SCT410 front and rear complete diff/tower/bumper assemblies on?....
I've been wanting to see a bump start SC truck!
Then the name could be the NSCT410. And we can sound out the acronym as the Nasty 410
