Ok thanks, I have read the description on the front page before, but it didn't sound like anything I needed to play with. However your experience sounds to me like its acting similar in some ways to anti-squat, but without the loose rear end that (more) anti squat adjustments tend to induce, so that is interesting. I will def experiment with it. Cheers
That is exactly what we noticed. When we lowered the rear anti-squat the front of the car wanted to drive around "on the droop screws" as soon as you picked up the throttle. With the arms moved back the car stayed flat. The car seemed to be much smoother through corners also especially on power.

First nitro in a long time, but the class is going to be HUGE at our new local track. Just a quick club race and a new facility and we already had four full heats of buggy's. Big nitro race this weekend. Doubt I'll make it in time, but we'll see
I boiled the tank and just need to find thicker fuel tube to do the clunk mod tonight (hitting a small bike shop that also has an rc or two at lunch). Being a EB48 and SCT410 owner, you can put 90% of this thing together without even looking at the manual.
It is very cool to see a lot of the "upgrade" components as part of the standard kit. Tekno keeps up the good work for sure.

If you want to run the tubing through the wall of the tank and delete the nipple
then yes i think you need to run a thicker tubing such as the Du-Bro,kyosho or
fioroni. I have done that type mod to several tanks in the past and the thicker
tubing simply works better.
If you just want to double it up inside the tank on the nipple and clunk then no
you do not need other fuel line as the stock stuff works just fine for that. Both
my original tanks are done this way and I have not had any problems, just make
sure you run a piece of foam under the tank.

FYI, this starter box works, but it's not a piece of cake. I actually drilled holes where the posts needed to go and put them straight into the top of the box. Good box, just wouldn't recommend it as the first buy for this buggy.

FYI, this starter box works, but it's not a piece of cake. I actually drilled holes where the posts needed to go and put them straight into the top of the box. Good box, just wouldn't recommend it as the first buy for this buggy.

Umm I had this same experience initially but it's actually just cus the way the NB48 is laid out. You need to make the pegs so that it holds the car slightly off center and now it's flawless. I honestly was mad at first cus everyone said get the blue ofna but now my protek works better

Seriously though that ProTeK box while a good deal still needs to earn its stripes so to speak as the OFNA box has over the years. There is a good reason why everyone recommends it.
Losi, Durango , Agama ect all need to be offset like that on the box. It's just part of the deal with a centered drivetrain. That's part of the reason why the Losi boxes are so narrow. Bonus though the truggy fits right on without moving the pegs.

I put Ramos's rear setup on. It's actually pretty close to what I have on my EB48 already. Moved from Columbus OH a few years back (raced at CRCRC), so figure I'll give it a try, he can't be completely crazy
