I usually stick in one end then squeeze them in with a pare of channel locks.

Use the protek shock tool. It has a rod end specific tool in between the handles

These shocks are so easy to build and get to match. I LOVE that they have the aluminum parts and not the plastic like my sct 410.

^ I usually just push on my rubber pit mat but the ends I just did on mine I used washers on a screw and tightened nut down to pop em on real quick. Same goes for shock shafts. If you use nut on top of shaft(without piston) you can use nutdriver to put your shock ends on without ever risking marking up the shock shaft by grabbing it with pliers

I use the smooth part of needle nose, wiggle the rod end pops right on.

I just received my kit from tower hobbies, should my kit have the correct diff shims? I thought the correct ones were darker, the ones in the kit are silver and I can't seem to find the posts about it.
Thanks

Anyone had any trouble with diff housings breaking?? I was a little over zealous with my throttle control and wheelied out of a corner right before a jump.. the front end shot straight down off the jump face and went straght into the face of the landing... it was a direct hit to the top of the front shock tower.. It ripped the bottom screws out that connect the shock tower to the diff housing... it was a pretty vicious hit for any vehicle to take?? Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them?
