Hey Mac.

That is exactly what I would hav ethought about the kicking except... (And this is why I am asking) I have increased teh weight in the back of the truck (All that Alloy) while leaving the suspension the same. and as I said it is not returning to it's normal ride hight. So I would have thought if anything my shocks were to soft...
The kicking to the side I think is more about the fact that it is going up off uneven bumps, so If I get the tail to stay down I expect the sideways to be no issue...

The left to right weighting on the shocks is the same, so I think that is more just the shape of the bumps I am hitting

well, try stiffening up the front suspension through spacers or lighter shock oil. this will kick the front end up more to be level with the rear. the back should not be kicking up if the shocks are softer AND the rear is heavier. thats just defying physics.

It's good to hear you say that, because I thought I was going mad.

I can see I am going to have to do some more analysis and work out WTF is going on.

If the rear was bottoming out would it display this sort of behavior?

actually falcon lord, you are right about the bottoming out. if it it too soft in the rear or too low to the ground, the rear could be hitting little bumps and ruts, kicking up the rear end on impact. try raising the ground clearance in the rear by moving the shocks to a more upright position.

Which exhaust gives most bang 4 the buck with the o.s. .18s and the regular 2.5s on the T-MAXX cause ive been looking 4 1 and i can't decide wat i want and everythings like over 50 bucks so cheaper it is the better

Default Oops i did it again.

I think I am officioly the most Brutal Maxx driver on earth. Or Powerline Bulkheads are CRAP.

I have managed to bend the shock tower mounts on my alloy bulkheads. The Hardcore Racing Shock tower doesn;t show any signs of damage butr the mount on the bulkhead has bent by about 3 or so degrees.(Enough to mean the shell wont match up with the body mount towers.

So I am not going to scrimp this time but simply buy "the best" My options, appear to be GPM (megatech or some other badging of a GPM part) Hardcore Racing, Traxxas or Fastlane.

Any one got any experiance with diferent options (I am looking for strength and durability, weight is of secondary concirn)
