More weight vs. the stock chassis and it's lower down. Aluminum chassis just makes the B44.2 come alive.

This may sound like a stupid advice, but make sure that your back diff is in good shape and setting. I'm mostly running on a high grip indoor carpet track that is very hard on the rear diff (especially when the slipper is set tight). the first indication of the rear diff going bad is that the rear gets very loose in corners when getting on power.

Ok reading this and thinking about my car. They behave the exact same way. It's the way the car is self behaves. I can already tell you, be smoother on the trigger out of the corners cuz the b44.2 in the turns is where it preforms. Hugs and bite but not flip or slide. I would say turn down ur motor and get it to run perfectly and consistantly

If the back end is losing grip in corners and you are running a rear sway bar, remove it.

Sounds good. The Caster and the Durango diffs are the same size for out drives then. The Caster Diff drops right in. The only issue is the Pinion. I am going to work with Krio to machine a Caster pinion to fit into the stock diff case and then modify the input shaft to work. The stock input shaft is too long and hits the diff. The Durango mod also has a machined pinion but does the stock input shaft work?

I don't have the durango diffs, but no, the input shaft needs to be shortened as well.

Hopefully that works out. Ive only beem running this car for a bit but id like to see how it reacts with gear diffs.

Krio (Chris P) does some great machine work by the way.

I'm having trouble with the rear end washing out/hooking during initial turn-in as well. Personally I'm going to try moving the lower arm mount location to the outer hole, which should help lock the rear in more. I'm not going to change the limiters, since I think that is part of the problem...its diving too much on the front.

But, moving the ackerman to the forward hole should actually give you more turn-in (less ackerman). If you use the rearward holes, you should have a smoother steering response (more ackerman).

Here is a video which explains ackerman well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5spUjQM_ykc

Does anybody know, off hand, what the inboard toe is in the rear. (Knowing that there isn't any up front.)

So Im trying to adjust the slipper on my friends b44.2 and to make it slip any amount on the dirt, we have to losen it off almost all the way to the plastic outdrive. Not sure if this is normal or not?

Loose as you can go would be butted right up against the plastic outdrive. It seems to work ok for him so will fiddle with it.
