bodies are not that hard to paint. you don't need a rockstar paintjob, you can do a single color and supplement with decals.

if you want a really nice paint job though, you could go through one of the painters in these forums.

Are you looking to race or to play around in the yard? If you are planning to race, I don't believe any of the race level 4wd 1/10 buggies have pre-painted options.

As mentioned previously either a single color with stickers or paying someone else to paint it are your only options.

If you're playing in the yard, you might consider something like a redcat or something similar. They are much cheaper, come with pre-painted bodies, &, for playing in the yard, will give similar results to a more race oriented vehicle.

Painting isn't that bad. Apply the included window masks, and spray using a rattle can until lightly covered with paint. Let it dry, then apply a second thin coat. Remove the masks and enjoy! Then you can add decals, or if you want pro graphics you can always buy a body wrap from some place like Upgrade RC. You can pick from many designs and colors for the B44.2 body. All you have to do is peel and apply.

Thank you guys!

No racing I guess...

Skins sound like a good choice... any other options in addition to upgrade rc?

Hi Guys,

I am currently using 1.7 2 hole pistons in my BB front shocks and are wondering if it worthwhile getting the 1.6 ones for the shocks? also has any one tried any other brand of pistons in these shocks to improve them?

Cheers

Lee

I am running 2x1.6mm pistons in front with Blue to Red springs. It works fine. I am also running 2x1.8mm pistons in the rear with Black to white springs. I am using the stock CF chassis so I am lighter than those using the Avid or other Aluminum chassis which would require more spring.

What is the thickness of the #4 spacer for anti-squat. I bought a used B44.2 and it has no anti squat in it and I would like to set it up with 2 degrees.

Thanks Chris

Has anyone tried to retrofit B5 rear arms on their B44 yet? They look tougher.

That and the rear hub assembly would be a nice mod as well.

If you really need the extra durability it could be something to look into. I have never broken anything other than a ballcup on the rear end of my buggy. The arms seem solid to me, so why change?
