Tekno NB48

I tried the rear motor setup last night. I'm impressed with the forethought that went into this. The pipe hanger mount, motor mounts, and filter support all just flip around. I didn't make any other setup changes. Just reset ride height and adjusted linkage and hit the track. It wasn't the best of tests because I was running bad tires and the track was very dusty. But, I did notice a couple things. The car was more stable overall, really everywhere but there are a couple spots on the currently layout which this breezed though easier. What really surprised me is that it didn't lose much steering.
I made the change in preparation for Psycho Nitro Blast, but may just keep it this way. I recommend giving it a try.

But I must admit I only get 1 day out of them and I thought the over size clutch bearings would last longer too

I ran my NB-48 for the first time this weekend. Box setup was rather pointy and not much steering for my taste. Gunna do the rear engine placement to calm it down and pull some steering stop washers to get more steering throw.
Kit is a dream to build though. Best I have assembled by a long shot. Instructions are very nice.

Hey guys, just getting back into nitro. Have my nb48 w reds r5c motor and pipe on the way. In addition to starter box, igniter, fuel bottle, servos and receiver pack what else should I buy immediately to be ready to go, I.e. Tools or different filter or anything so I'm 100% ready.
Also for the FTW body, is it a direct fit w no other modifications? Looks a lot bettr than stocker

It's more easier to put balls into camber link' ends when those camber plastics are warmed in the cup of hot water.
Five stars to Tekno guys for making servo saver adjustment screw for 17mm wrench!
Also noticed that even with both rear braces chassis has more flex than my AE8.2 with carbon reinforcement in rear. Maybe adding mud guards gonna reduce it, who knows..

Hello to everyone. So I'm not having much luck finding a Tekno NT48 body. Does anyone happen to know of where I can purchase one? Thank you for your help. Yes, I know I'm posting in the NB48 section but it seams that more information is being shared in the buggy section.

Saw the NB at a race today at Leisure Hours. I had the feeling I should of waited to buy it late last year and today I KNEW I should of waited. But nope,I picked up a D812 late last year.
I was impressed with how the car looked. Seeing it was the first time it had seen the track,I didn't ask for a test drive but I'm pretty sure I don't need one...Plus it would only bump up the self butt kicking I was wanting to do to myself.
I think I might need to put that D812 up for sale cheap to get my hands on a NB...When the gut speaks, one should listen. I ignored it last year but I shall not ignore it anymore!!
