Yes there is. Look for back light, I think that is what they called it. Remember, the brighter the screen, the shorter the battery life. I have mine about 70% or so.

Hi Guys, i've been following the thread and finally ready to get a the new fsit4. I'm thinking of getting it from hobbypartz - the green version currenty going at 139 - can anyone who recently bought from them confirm that it has the latest hardware/firmware and binding issues fixed? thanks.

Bought it 2 weeks ago from hobbypartz. Updated to the latest firmware but I still have the issue with the binding. I wouldn't buy it again unless it's fixed.

Which color did you get? there is the titanium color (only one in stock) which is 10 dollars more - and is listed under the heading "new fly sky fs-it4" - so I'm hoping this may be the updated one - will try chatting with hobbypartz to find out but unlikely they will be much help...

Thanks - thats a shame... looks like I may have to wait a bit then. Anyone have a confirmed site to buy the updated version?

hey guys I talked to jerry last night and he asked for the forum address. here is what he posted to ultimate RC hope this set's some minds at ease. I ment to give him a link to this forum as I believe more people asked for them here. But it was late and I goofed up but it doesn't really matter as long as you are on his list and you gave him your info you should get a chip.

It is a shame they took so long to acknowledge any issues for resolution as I was gonna pull the trigger on this setup. Most likely a good thing since I hate my flysky compared to my Futaba.

I had the mag sensor setup to one of my wheel. Well that is for the motor RPM. I pulled it out and put in the optical one. I used a strip of aluminum tape 1/8 inch wide on the inside of the rear tire, set the length as 12.52 and it works pretty well.

I have Int voltage, Ext voltage 2, Temp1 (motor) speed 3 setup.

They are nice but the only time I look at them is when I have stopped so the speed does me no good, temps are nice, I know I can step up on the pinion and I wont melt the motor.

Buzz.

You have to "glue" inner of the magnets to the inner ring of one your wheels, then affix the mag sensor so it can pick up the magnet. Its got to be pretty close. That's it. In your settings select speed sensor as a display not motor speed. Also make sure you go into speed and distance and set to Imperial units and not metric. You also have to set wheel circumference in there somewhere.

As for the Absima CR4T (= FS-iT4), I have a confirmation from my local reseller, that regarding the multiple rx bind issue these Absimas are fixed from the start of the year. Absima will be also selling a waterproof rx, the R4WP, see http://shop.absima.com/RADIOS-SERVOS...&c=3771&p=3771. Dimensions 35x22x15mm, telemetry capable, not in stock yet.
