coming form the lighter less powerfull setup it may be best to just being from 0 again.
I run the CSI v-port red pistons (kyosho version) and they feel great. I'm much heavier in shock fluid of course that what is listed for them but very happy with the pack and feel on all areas of the track.

I went with stock shock oils, 10/12/7 fr to rear, 1900 motor mmpro esc. This thing just works, tons of steering, not over powered...at least not for some...right Ross...lol Here are couple of pix, before somebody slammed the front end into fence and smashed the body into the shock tower Lesson Learned, never let anybody drive your NEW car!!!

Very sharp!

Don't know when Tekno will have them in stock but amain has them right now. Plus you can get $25 off of orders over $250 and $75 off of orders over $750 with the February coupon codes.

Got the new diff shims in from Tekno today. Man they are fast. Glad I went back and redid my center after thinking that there was no damage but after closer inspection found some. Just a little but glad I double checked it. Now we are ready for Sunday.

Tekno did you want the old shims for inspection or do you all have some bad ones already. I will send them to you if you want.

Thanks,

Congrats on the A-Main finish and thanks for posting the setup sheet. Two quick questions, I'm watching the LiveRC replay video of the main, which truck is yours? And did any other ET48's make the A main of Expert or Intermediate?

Thank you,

Thank you,
I think there were two others in the A of expert and 2-3 in the b main of expert (wasn't paying attention to Intermediate but I think one of the podium was tekno for sure). Other than lutz the difference from A to B main ranged from 2seconds for the top 4 guys in the b to less than 20 seconds for the entire group,, everyone was throwing 10 lappers except lutz at 11. My et was pretty dialed, I was not.. it was a rough race taken out from behind on the start, taken out two more times by the same guy over the next minute (who was a bump up). Then clipped one more time just put me in a bad place mentally and last place on the track, I let it get to me and shouldn't have. Honestly he was as fast as any of us but the thing is anyone can drive over people, he simply doesn't get "racing" and a honest win,, but that is besides the point it was my fault for not keeping it together mentally and keeping myself in the thick of it. ;P lol.

Thanks for the race report...pardon my ignorance but which main were you in and which is your truck? I'm trying to see one of these ET48's run to decide if I want to say goodbye to my Mugen E-Truggy...pretty sure I'm going to switch but want to be sure...Thank you.

Thank you,
Electric Dave,

I know Pres and I were in the Pro-Truggy A-main. I was running on 3 shocks for 7 of the 10 minutes race. My truggy was dialed but had some bad luck.

Mark

I was b-main started position 4 white/orange mid area and blue front on the body, basically you'll see me get tagged in the front stretch going into the first corner went to 11 before crossing the line, got by a tangle up clean in the switch back immediately after, moved back up several positions ?6? to only to get tied a few more times then just never regained focus I needed with such a strong group of racers. May be able to see how the vehicle handled track features etc.. but the a-main would be better to watch as there are far move video's/angles out there,, as Mark noted at least 2 tekno's to watch in that mix. Fairly easy to tell the tekno's as they are SUPER narrow body's.

Yeah that was a top level Mugen driver that got into you there! I seen him coming up on me towards the end of the race. But I kept putting the hammer down so I didnt have to have him drive through me.

I heard after the race he was pretty mad that he didn't bump up into the A-Main. I was fine with my third place finish although I did battle it out with 2nd place for a while and made a stupid mistake to only have my bump spot slip away. But the way I look at it is that McGinty finished behind this ET48!!!

I was very proud of all the Tekno presence at Motorama. The support from the other Team Drivers was top notch! I can't wait to get us all together again in the near future!!

With that being said. Anyone heading to LCRC for opening day or possibly "The Big One"? Or maybe the 13th Annual East Coast Race Against Cancer at McCullough's Offroad in Sarver, PA?
