I understand most of the variables, on paper lighter should be quicker but most of our systems are so over powered it really doesn't matter much any more.

Ok I posted pics of my diffs earlier with the old shims and the wear that was happening. Here is a pic of my rear diff (had the worst wear with the old shims) after replacing the shims with Tekno's new ones and a good hard Sunday of racing (5 packs). There is no wear at all and the diff fluid was very clean. Thank you Tekno for doing such a great job at fixing this problem

I can verify and testify to the HARD racing as mentioned above!

Nothing but kind words for this company. I have a 1st run kit that is fully built but never ran. I contacted them as they said about the diff shims this past Friday. Well I had them in PA Monday morning! Awesome guys!

This might sound like a stupid question (Yet AGAIN), but would a HW xerun 150a easily handle 6s lipos? Also, do 6s lipos usually put more strain on the ESC compared to 4s? More number of cells = more stress/heat?

Well, I ordered one last night! A-Main had them in stock so I grabbed one from there. I emailed Tekno and they have already sent the revised Diff Shims...can't wait to get this beast up and running!

It will handle 6s but you may need an external BEC. The Built in BEC is a bit weak in those. 6s with a low KV motor (1500kv or so) is very efficient and will be easier on your esc than a low voltage / high amperage setup.

JeremyMcG look this page and see my post on the new shims with the picture of my rear diff. I emailed them on a Monday and I had my new shims on Thursday. After five packs through with the new shims I had no wear. Tekno takes care of their customers.

So if you were to keep all other variables out of the equation (such as cost, current chargers/batteries/motors etc) you would go with a 6s setup?

YES!
If you do not run any ROAR events
I dont think 6s is legal in etruggy

not really my bud run his on 6s and 5s with no issues mostly 6s by the way so no need for seperate bec only if you are running more then 2 servos thats when you need it , hes only running esc and one steering servo .
