Tekno SCT410 Thread
I have had my ear to the ground since the mention last week or so of a new 2014 version of the BCE T1 race chassis for our beloved SCT410 and I have heard that the wheels are churning at the shop and I heard a lot of things about the option of having the battery forward position and some other things so I said why not and went ahead and asked and they are taking pre-orders with hopes of shipping within the next week and a half or so. With that being said I placed my order, I really like the OG T1 so I cant wait to get my hands on the new one, it really performs.
Side note I also heard a little rumor of Billy Fisher doing some things with BCE, so it sounds like they are getting ready to do some big things over there. Ill let you know when I get mine and how it works out.

Hi anyone, newbie here. I have an issue with this truck on my steering knuckle. I dropped screw under the front knuckle for 2 times during practice on hard loose track and am lost my bushing, too
Does anyone have found the same issue like me? any solution?
I bought this truck 2 months ago, in overall with some optional parts its more than enough for me. Thats only an issue that I have so far.
cheers

Install it except for the steering rod. Install the screws and snug them up. Make sure it turns left and right with no resistance, if it binds at all, just slightly loosen either or both screws till its free.
It's been 6 months since I came back to this hobby after a 15 year absence. It's been slow going getting myself up to speed. For the longest time I felt like a rolling obstacle out there.Truck has been flawless. I've broken 2 parts in 6 months (rear forward hingepin carrier, right front spindle)
Qualified 6th last night. Got run into from behind on lap 1 and drove back to 6th at SDRC.
I've still got a long way to go, but feeling like I'm making progress.

Yea although i did have to cut some burrs out inside the caps. I bought the truck used.
Did 1.3 piston on the Rear with 30w and the Pink spring defietly feels like more pack but could use a spring rate up from Pink. Remember i live in the Northeast the tracks are not smooth if its outside dirt .
The shock positions on the Rear are the 2nd hole on the from the outside first hole which looking at it its the stock setup and the middle hole on the arms.

Nothing better than doing new parts though on the Tekno, but in a pinch it can help.

Green rear is the next step up and is what I was running with the Tekno 8x1.3/1.4 pistons matched with green front.
From what I can tell from the multitude of spring combos I've tried on this, if you keep about a 1.7 in/lb spread between the front & rear, your springs are balanced. From there just choose how stiff you want your setup.
Green springs had great balance... 1.7 spread. Now Durango white/black front spring and Tekno pink spring. Again, perfect balance and it happens to be a 1.7 in/lb spread.
Some people like a smaller spread giving more spring rate to the rear, but many have said that the greens gave very good flight and handling.
