silicone oil and swelling.
You can build them without GreenSlime. It just means they will need to be replaced sooner.

I would try a 30. this is why...my 4wd with a 8.5 is geared about the same way I would gear an 8.5 in my b4. Soooo, I would try 75/30 if its even possible. you should have the spurs and pinion around

I use a Losi horn that's drilled 4-40 for the AE ball stud.

Ok folks , this weekend I rand A big race, 5 qualis and 4 heats. Test the Rpm arms and the 2mm shorter rear arm mod. Man the car felt good. Fast, stabel and on low speed loose anough in the rear, to turn very Quick. Run on medium grip Astro, wooden jumps and Stones Run 3 days without one little problem. Run one of my best races ever so for. My mate is A-main driver and swaped last heat his xb4 with my b44.2 and afther one round to test he go as Fast with my b44.2 as his best. Finished 3e in that round with his best time of the Day. Hé comes of the rosarium, and says, man I never drive A car so easy and good like You're b44.2.
I love my b44.2, I'm proud of him. It was a hell of a test.

The point of running a 13.5 motor is to go slower. The gearing is right.
If youre trying to go as fast as an 8.5 then just run an 8.5,
Gearing a 13.5 like a 17.5 is going to cause heat issues.
Now if your boosting as well... even worse idea.
I know the 44 manuals dont give gearing charts but you can get close with other vehicle gearing recommendations.
Wait... which are you saying is wrong?
