There's No way I could have waited until summer to try this truggy out!
This truggy is sweeter than the tits on the neighbors sheep. Lol
Hahahahahaha I may not totally understand the sheep thing but I definitely understand the need to run your new toy. I couldn't wait so I ran on the street, fortunately I didn't have to move any snow. A few years ago I got new Caster F8t, we had snow to I made a set of chains for it. Worked great until I ran it in front of a fast moving police car and smashed my brand new kit flat. Funny now, not so much then!

To have your new rc smashed would suck, but of all cars to run your rc over it had to be a police car, that must have really sucked!!! I didn't want to run on the street because of all the salt. That and I wanted to see how it jumped.

What type of track do you race on? What setup are you using now? What does it do that you don't like? Do you have a video? I'm sure with all the people on here you can get some good help.

He was a real ass about it too, told me if he caught me running rc's on the road again he would ticket me, nice guy just creamed about $800 worth of rc goodies.

Thanks guy's, but I must say that after every race..lol I'll keep the SCT, my biggest problem has been getting the shocks dialed in????Waiting for the CSI pistons, that are in my buggy I bought from my Buddy Ross<<< After trying several different springs, and oils, I've almost come full circle. The stock springs work fine, but went to 40fr,35 rear. Best it's been, but tryed some old Losi Truggy shocks all around, even better????Never had a problem with shocks like this??? Still useing bladder, might try emultion. This is why I will never give up RC, love the chase too much.........Here is the track I race at, hard pack that grooves up later in the race day......

I'm gonna get one of these "eventually" just might buy stuff here and there till its complete!!! Got it narrowed down to the 2200kv castle system or hobbywing setup just concerned the 150amp esc wont fit!! Anyone try it yet?? The price tag for the hobbywing setup is attractive I could put the rest of the money saved toward a new servo!! Speaking of servo whats my best bang for my buck? Don't really feel like spending a fortune on a servo but don't want to strip one out and have to buy another a month down the road either!!! Any help or advice would be appreciated

Tekno is by far the best build. Granted I have only built 3 cars, my 410 went together the easiest. And it was my first kit. I do have to say that my xray xb9e manual was fantastic until i reached the part where I had to use the electric insert and it was horrendous. But there was certainly a lot of time planning out the xb9 manual. If only they had made a separate xb9e manual.

I have the 150a hw in mine, does fit but it's tight. I actually notched the plastic mud guard to buy extra space for the wires for a even better fit. I'll post some pics soon.

Here's a link to an earlier post I made with pictures on a xerun 150 case mod in a eb48.

All I did was open the case and rerouted the wires to the other side.

If your running the aluminum caps by chance you may want to either run the unvented or emulsion

If you go back and look at one of my posts around page 96ish I did the same thing only mounted it 180 degrees oposite. I cut the esc case so the wires ran under the esc mount with no stress on the wires. It turned out real good. Yours looks good also.

Cool TY, ya that gorilla tape is more to just make sure in haste I don't rub the wires when putting the body on quickly at some point :P

Personally I wouldn't run the castle 2200kv system, that's what I had put in my first EB48 buggy cause it's what I had at the time. Later on I had decided to get a system with a buggy motor...I went with the Tekin 1900kv buggy motor combo and I was surprised to find out the Tekin buggy setup had more power and ran a lot cooler! I had also geared the new motor so I'd have the same top speed. Actually I gained a couple mph, which should reduce the torque and bring up the temp. I don't know about the hobbywing system, I do know you get what you pay for in my experience.
