I hope it's not otherwise i won't be running tekno again. Tried to tune out aggressive on my .1 and it got a little better, but still too twitchy.

Its funny the lazy kits manage to win every top event too.. I'm not sure what that says I just hope I do as well this year w/ my EB48.2 and ET48 as I did w/ my "lazy" kits last year :P

I have to ask why do you keep buying teknos when I see you on every tekno forum bashing on them and always trying to stir things up

different kits have different driving styles also pros and cons.. Then most people won't take the time to set it up for them.

+1 on setting up. most dont realize how much you can change a car or truck with some simple changes.

I agree 100% on setup. I had my EB48 setup about as good as I felt I could get it. I'm not saying its a bad kit. I was fast with it and it got me my first podium finishes. If you are used to an aggressive setup on any kit you have owned the I could see how this kit doesn't seen aggressive because it does it so well. After owning one, working on it, setting it up, driving it and watching other EB48 I came to the conclusion that it is part of the design of the kit. Just like the slop in losi kit is just part of the design. I'm no where close to an aggressive drive nor do I like aggressive setups. Sure I'm fast with it but the consistency was not there. I have no problems with recommending tekno to people and if they ask why I don't have I will tell them.

Im not saying that because I switched to mugen that its better then the tekno. It just fits my drive stye better. I never posted a setup sheet for the EB48 because I was never happy with the setup and didn't want people to use any of the setup I was using and blame me for it not being good. I kept the EB48 till I was sure the mugen was the way I wanted to go. If I hated the mugen then i would have kept my EB48 hands down and just lived with what I didn't like. Out of the kits out there now to choose from the tekno is up at the top of my list just not my first pick now.

Just the opposite sir, I only speak up when others start bashing great products. I never said anything bad about Tekno, just that I hope my results are as good. I have put forth some constructive criticism during the builds, but if this forum is to only come in and praise tekno and bash other brands instead of being a place to discuss tekno related things I guess I am in the wrong.. sorry for your soft skin.

It's not much cause I live in Wisconsin and there's 18 to 24 inches of snow and the only indoor track is way way to small.
So my solution to run my ET48 was to plow the snow from part of my track.
This Truggy is sweet...if you don't have one yet you've got to get one!
You can type in my user name Djameso to see all my vids or the link is below to see the ET48 first run.

The tlr kits may be great, but whoo wee their manuals suck. I have never had to guess more on what goes where in my life. While the cars may be very close in performance, the manual had to be made by either the smartest or the dumbest person @ tlr. Tekno will go together easier everytime. I know you'll disagree with me on this, because duh, you've built them before. You know where most everything goes. But a beginner or even a pretty good racer who's never owned tlr would tell you it was anything but a well thought out build process.
