I'd dremel some material away. Carbon fiber is conductive... Make sure you clear enough if the batteries do move it still clears.
LRPs I have heard are good too, only times I hear anyone complain is when they need service on them. But, performance and durability sounded good.
I hope if they do make a change, they really look into making the vehicle easier to dissassemble for getting to say the diffs, and, access to the servo area. I like the modular concept, but it seems you take part a good portion of the car to get to stuff that should be easier to get to.
What Shark and RC Shox have been working on looks very cool though. Excited to see what can become of what they have been doing.

I've recently become the owner of an FT with Castle 3800 and MMP. Running it on asphalt oval for now with Street Fighter 3mm offset wheels/tires, 58/15 gears and sway bars. It is wicked fast. Only problem I have is a tendency to want to turn in when getting on the throttle off turns. Slipper is tightened all the way down. I can control it with throttle and some exponential in the throttle bit it's tricky.
I'm thinking about a center diff and wondering if anyone has used one in this environment. Seems like it should help.

To me that sounds like a setup issue rather than a slipper c diff issue. Which pulley do you have on the front? If you dont have the 19 tooth over drive pulley on it may be causing part of your issue. Does part of your setup force the truck to turn left anyways? Like lower chassis height on left than right or longer wheel base on right and short on left?
Im wondering if you dont have the smaller pulley on the front and with an oval setup, when you throttle on its forcing the rear to over take the front and turn in.

Ran the truck for the first time last night. Truck was ok. It felt better when the track was dusty during practice. When it got swept and traction came up it was a bit twitchy and wanted to roll over. Steering was great. Needs more forward traction in both conditions. Running the FT kit setup, saddle packs, LRP Flow oposite side of motor and a sonic 550.
any weight added?
for traction roll issue, try raising up the rear inner ball stud a few mm's. you may want to purchase the longer ballstuds as at a certain height they become suspect for not being long enough.

Tight, high bite, smooth, damp,
Here is a old vid. Current layout is technical infield stuff and not many big jumps.

And how much rear toe are you running, and what sway bars (if any)?
I can send you a high traction setup I used, basically was for carpet but maybe give you an idea of what to compare if you like. Or, give AE's site a look for setups that are for high bite and see what changes are different than your vehicle.
